Left Ear Deafness

I have deafness in my left ear. I listen almost nothing in this ear. Audiogram and audiometry test done, and it shows great loss in the left ear. Is there any chance by means of surgery or by using hearing aid or by doing exercises, so that I can hear in my left ear. Please reply ASAP.

Hi.. Reduced hearing can occur due to multiple reasons.. It can occur due to infection and inflammatory changes in the ear.. An ENt evaluation with BERA and other audiometry studies will help in clinching the diagnosis...

A Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) or  a Vibrant Sound Bridge (VSB) on your left side will help overcome your problem, if your audiogram shows a sensorineural hearing loss in your left ear.
