Leg Pain After Running Race, Losing Voice, Sore Chest And Throat, Tiredness, Swollen Neck Glands
Yes, I ran a race on Monday and felt achey all over, even strange pain in my achilies where I had to walk. I ran a marathon a few weeks before and have been working out alot. I flew to Belgium for work on Tuesday and started feeling worse. By Wednesday I was losing my voice, sore chest, sore throat and tired. By Thursday my voice was totally gone, same symptoms. It is Friday and my voice is coming back but I now have a dry cough, partial voice, very tired, and achy and swollen glands in neck
Welcome to Health care Magic. The pain in the achille's tendon could be because of strain during the race and overexertion during working out.The aches and body pains, fatigue and sore throat seem to be secondary to a Upper respiratory tract viral illness. The lymph node swelling would probably be secondary to this. The viral laryngo-Pharyngitis would probably settle down in a coupe of days, the cough may take some time to settle down.
