Hello dear,

The distribution of body hair depends on Genetics as well as Hormonal influence, specially the hormone Testosterone which is responsible for secondary sexual characters including male pattern hair growth.
Since, your father also have similar hair pattern, it can be considered Genetic influence.
However, to rule out your concern, you can get a Hormonal assay done.
If the values are within normal limits, then there is no need to worry.

Take care.
