Light Whiter Spots On Scrotum. Not Sexually Active. What Could Be This?

Dr. I have noticed light whiter spots on my scrotum...in reading, I hear it could be a fungal infection or something that begins with a V. It is limited to the scrotum, not the penis. I have not had sex in years so I do not think it is an STD. Any advice how to correct the situation. I am a white man in his mid forties. Thank you for any reply!

Hi,
If there is itching and spots are not pure white, chances of having fungal infection is there.
If spots are white and non itching chances of Vitiligo is there.
This can be more precisely decided if seen personally.
Consult dermatologist and get physically examined.
Ok and take care.
