Lips And Cheeks Swell While Sleeping. Could This Be Tumor?
For about a week and a half I have been waking up with swollen lips and cheeks, the tissue inside my lips is sore and damaged. The swelling goes away during the day. This happens even if I nap for short periods of time. I do not sleep on my stomach. I have tried not brushing before bed to see if it was a prob with my toothpaste, it did not make any difference. I have also been experiencing lots of canker sores on my tongue , I am not sure if these are related. In December I was told by my dentist to see a specialist about a place on my gums he thought could be a tumor , I do not have insurance so I never went to see the specialist. Could all of this be related? I am a 36 year old female, I have never smoked and have always been healthy. Thank you for your help.
