Lips, Eyebrows Scrunching, Hard, Tight Face, Waxing Done. Cure?

I got my lip and eyebrows waxed yesterday and when they were doen my face (where they applied the wax) was red and burning. I woke up this morning to find it harder and scruntching together. My face feels really tight now. The night before all of this happened I put on epiduo for my acne. I found out that it had benzoyl peroxide. Is that the cause? How can I fix this because I am graduating in a week and I can not look like this!! I am desperate please help.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Use of wax and benzoyl peroxide- adapalene gel combination might have irritated your skin. Firstly I would advise that you stop applying epiduo. Apply a good sunscreen in morning. Use a bland moisturiser to keep your face well moisturised. Apply a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone or fluticasone twice in a day over affected area. Hopefully in couple of days, your skin would improve.
Take care
