Hi
Welcome to HCM
Hair loss in this stage of life is an unwanted hazard. Probably your hair loss pattern is like a male type hair loss (Androgenetic alopecia). If it is then no medical treatment is helpful for you. Only hair transplantation is a solution. You were concern about scalp lotion or spray (e.g minoxidil 5% spray/lotion) but these products has a minimum tolerable side effects such as burning, stinging, pain etc. But it is almost useless.
Therefore, you need to consult a dermatologist for taking perfect decision.

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
After reading your query I can understand your concern for hair fall. You should know that in males hair fall is a natural process because of the hormone testosterone. This hormone after the age of 20 years starts receding the hair which is known as "Male pattern baldness". Other than that there can be nutritional and stress related causes which can make the situation worsened.
The mainstay of the treatment in this problem are certain solutions to apply and multivitamin therapy. These are effective on long term usage and can maintain the hair growth. But as you know the hormonal influence is normal natural influence so the hair fall can continue again.
THere are certain drugs which are antiandrogenic - but these are generally not prescribed as initial course and if you want you can openly ask your doctor to not to prescribe these drugs to you.
Overall from your side reduce your stress and take good amount of proteins and mineral in your daily diet to improve your hair growth.
With good health wishes.
