Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi Thomaskeira,

You need to consult your ENT specialist as soon as possible as you require a thorough examination and appropriate management. Till then, do not strain your voice, drink plenty of warm water and do steam inhalation.

Regards

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpaul's  Response
apparently it is laryngitis, the inflammation can be due to infection or irrational singing or talking loud or forceful coughing also. It calls for complete vocal rest for atleast two days have steam and hot saline water gargles.
Amongst herbal medicines we cure it with Tab.punarnava guggul i tab sy. Crux 2tsf { BAN }tds and kanth sudharak vati [ unjha ] to be sucked tds.
