Lost Virginity, Bleeding After Sex. No Period Due To Birth Control. Bleeding Pure Blood. Hymen Ruptured?

I lost my virginity 3 years ago and I have had sex a lot of times since then, rough sex on multiple occasions and my boyfriend and I just had sex and now I'm bleeding. I haven't had a period in 4 months due to my birth control and I don't feel like rupturing my hymen is a possibility. The blood is not a color of period blood it's a bright red like pure blood, what is it?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
This blood is not due to rupture of any hymen membrane .
As you stated in your query that you were not getting bleeding from last 4 months . At present this bleeding is retained bleeding .
In my opinion wait for another 4-5 days .
If bleeding persists more than 6-7 days then consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
Good luck. Dr. HET
