Low Blood Pressure, Cannot Walk Without Aid. Angioplasty Done. Advise?
Angioplasty done after heart attack. 2 blocks. Now 10 days after angioplasty but pressure still low. What should i do to increase blood pressure to normal?
Dear sir I am 56 years old. I had heart attack and was taken to hospital. The cardiologist did angioplasty because i had one complete block and another not so bad. It is now 10 days and i still cannot walk without aid because my feet do not have much strength. My blood pressure was quite low but it regained to about 117/69 or so. Please advice me as why i am still not stable to walk unaided. I am a fit person. Thank ou so much. My email is . YYYY@YYYY
This information is not sufficient enough to arrive at an appropriate conclusion... Some amount of muscle is damaged by the heart attack and the reminder may not be strong like before – causing a low BP... Neurological problems and/or anxiety could be contributing to the inability to walk. Neurologist consultation can help.. You have not stated your personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome... Discuss with your treating doctor...
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
