Lower Abdominal Pain On Left Side, Dark Brown Bleeding, No Odour. Causes And Treatment?

Hi my name is xxx. I m 24 and I ve had two kids before. The last two days I ve had lower abdomen pain on the left side. It hurts to touch my abdomen. It s better to day. The pain is gone pretty much, but now I just started bleeding dark brown blood that has no odor. I just got over that time of the month a few weeks ago. I ve bin working out more often. Not sure if that could be something.

Hi,
Possibilities in your case would be some hormonal imbalance leading to intermenstrual breakthrough bleeding as ovulation bleed is usually fresh. If you are not on any contraception and are sexually active, you should also consider a pregnancy and get tested. I would ask for a urinalysis, pelvic/trans-vaginal sonogram and observation to clarify the issue. If no local cause is found, hormonal status should be assessed, weight management is done along with stress-relief, healthy diet and treatment of general infections. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
