Lower Back Pain, Started Up With Strengthening The Muscles. Is It Due To The Exercise?

I have lower back pain (right side). I have made some attempts to strengthen my core muscles (what chiropractor and other back pain specialists suggested). That did help, however, when I got away from doing it more regularly over the last two weeks and have strated up again, it seems to hurt more. I also just started at a gymn and do the oliptical exercises for 20 - 25 mintues. Any thoughts?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! I am not sure if you are doing a supervised exercise programme or not. Sometimes while doing exercises specially in gyms where no experts are present, one may get hurt in his muscles/ligaments due to excess amount of exercises or due to some wrong moves. I would suggest you to consult both an orthopaedician and also a physiotherapist to clinically examine who may advise for some radiological investigations before proceeding further.
Wishing you an early recovery.
