Lump In Groin, Reappearing Before Periods, Swollen And Leaking. Any Ideas?
Last month a lump appeared in my groin (right side) just before my period, it remained during my period and about 1.5week after my period it went away. Now it is a few days before my next period and the lump has re-appeard again in the same place on 4th June. I have been very careful and gently keep washing with soap and water few times a day. Today, 7th June it started leaking while i was sitting. It is still a bit swollen. What should I do?
Lump in the groin may occur due to various causes like infection or trauma some where in legs or in genital organs or due to swelling of some lymph glands, drug reaction or as reaction to pain and there are also many other reasons. As it has started leaking there are possibilities for complications and you need see your doctor to find the correct cause of that swelling by doing proper physical examination and investigations. Maintain personal hygiene to avoid secondary infection of swelling.
Take Care!
