Lump In The Groin, Hurts When Touched. Serious?

Hi, Im a 19 year old female.. on tuesday night i was laying in bed and my cat walked and stepped on a spot that is in the crease of my groin area on the right side and it hurt really bad. i felt it with my finger and there is a lump slightly smaller than a marble and it only hurts when touched... it started to hurt when i walk yesterday but only a little once it gets a little warmed up the pain get less severe. on a scale of 1-10 for pain i would say about a 5 when i touch it and if i just start walking about a 6 but goes down to about a 2 or a 3. im worried it could be something serious.

Hi,

You are saying to have noticed the lump only when you are touching it. Have you seen any red or swollen area similar to pimple or with-white-head bump?

If yes, it might be related to :

- possible hair follicle infection
- infected lipoma
- hematoma

Hope it helped!
