Lump On Eye Lid, Painful. Applying Warm Compressors. What Is Wrong?
Have a small egg shaped will call it a lump on top of eyelid. Appeared last Tues 3/26 and has gotten smaller. It did hurt Tuesday nite but since then there is no pain. It has reduced itself in size but is still there. Have been applying warm compressors 2x/day. Is this something that needs a dermotologist to check out? Or primary Doctor? Or eye doctor. Lots of questions ... sorry
painless swelling that is slightly mobile not attached to the skin away from lashline implies chalazion...more common in diabetics n uncorrected refractive error...can continue compresses...a eye doctor wil surgically incise n remove it under local anesthesia as opd procedure.it is safe n recommended
