Lump On Labia Majora, Connected To Stalk Underneath. Want Second Opinion

Hi, I have a lump on my outter labia majora, feels like a small pebble around 1cm in size. Had my go review it and she thinks its a hair follicle... However, she didn't feel it much during the exam and she didn't feel that it is connected by a `stalk` underneath the lump.. I'm really worried and thinking about getting a second opinion. What could it be to have a stalk?! Help!!

Hi,

It may be either cyst or skin tumor.

You should consult expert.

After keen examination, clinical diagnosis may be done.

And accordingly the strategy of treatment may be decided.

Cyst is small swelling containing tough sticky material.

If there is tumor , excision biopsy may be done.

If it is infected, antibiotics are taken for for short period.

Surgical excision may be done by expert.

In conclusion, you must consult either dermatologist or gynaecologist.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
