Lump Under Skin Near Hip, Painful, Growing, Discolored Skin Above. Ultrasound, MRI, Biopsy Shows Inflammation. Cause?

I have a lump under my skin 15X8 on my left side of my back near my hip. I have had it for about a year now and it is painful. It has grown over time and has discolored the skin above it. I have had an ultra-sound that saw only inflamation and and MRI that saw the same. I also had a biopsy and a culture done that only show inflamaiton as well. what could this be?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand the report came in imaging study but report of biopsy is inadequate there must be some reason of inflammation it can not be it self underlying cause has to be there, if it is not painful to you then you should not worry about it if it is increasing in size then it need to be removed it may be lypoma better you discuss it with surgeon have nice day.
