Can you help me please ? Thank you.
The site and symptoms that you have mentioned can be a Bartolins cyst or some lesion of the skin.
The most common lesion at this is the Bartholins cyst.
Bartholins gland is a gland present at the lower end of the vagina. This gland secrets a lubricating fluid.
In case of blockage of the duct of this gland, there is distention and dilatation of the gland.
It is a very painful condition.
You can take painkiller and an antibiotic,
If the condition does not relieve, surgical excision needs to be done.
The surgical excision is called 'marsupilisation'. In this process the cyst is opened inside out so that it does not re-occur..
Thanks and take care
