Lumps In Labia Majora, Soreness, Not Fixed. What Might They Be?

I have two pea sized (slightly smaller) lumps in my labia majora ... interlabia sulci area (basically just to the left and slightly above my clitorus but before the pubic hair line) one came up over night (I think) the other followed within the next few days, the larger of the two is slightly sore when rolled between fingers, they are not fixed, I dont think they are hair follicles and i have had them for 10 days approx. no discolouration to skin, non protruding. ??? Can you please give me an idea of what they may be and should I head to my Dr. Thank you

Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.

After reading your query it sounds like cystic structures. Though it is too early to make any exact or nearest possible diagnosis. Just keep a close watch over the area. If any itching or pain appears on the swelling then you can again give a feed back and take necessary advice. Till that time you do not try to touch or squeeze the area. You need not to meet a doctor immediately as there is no pain or any other symptoms.
In the inflammation of the hair follicle there is always a feeling of pain itching and later on discharge. So it do not appear to be same. Lastly I again request you to not to even touch the area unnecessarily. Most of the swellings of this area subsides by itself.
With good health wishes
