Lumps In The Pelvic Area. Need To Go To Emergency?
I have, just a week ago, noticed two pea sized lumps on the left of my pelvis/groin area. They feel like they are attached, so I believe they are lymph nodes. One it above the other, near eachother. I'm wondering what this is, as I am going to be going to an urgent care to get a look at as I do not have a primary care physician at the moment.
It is evident from your description that the lumps are due to lymph node enlargement.
Lymph node enlargement are seen in a variety of inflammtory conditions and in neoplastic conditions.
If there is a previous history of infection of the genitourinary tract or any other site on the lower limb, this enlargement can be due to that.
However, a fine needle aspiration cytology and/ or biopsy is required to know the cuse of such enlargement.
Consult your doctor for clinical examination and relevant investigations.
Thank you and take care.
