Lungs Cleared After Taking Myrin. Advised Not To Take Alcohol. When Can I Drink?
I have been taking Myrin for almost 6 months now (10 days away from 6 months to be exact). My pulmonologist will see me in 10 days for my final check up. Since day 1, I have improved dramatically and in my last xray, my lungs are clear already. My doctor said that while I am under medication, I cannot drink alcohol as my liver is working double time already. Now that I am 10 days away from my 6th month, is it still bad for me to drink alcohol? Can I drink a few beers?
Hi and welcome to HCM. Z+Thank you for your query.
Of course you can. This isnt strictly defined periods. Nothing can happen if you take few beers just dont tell that to your pulmologist when you see him. So small amount of alcohol wont cause any damage to your liver even when taken with myrin. WIsh you good health.
