Lymph Nodes Swollen. Red Scabs On Scalp. Why Am I Nauseated?
Dear Doctor, I m a 19 year-old female. I ve been nauseated for a few weeks. The lymph nodes in my neck and behind my ears are incredibly swollen, particularly on the right side. There are also random red scab-like spots forming on my scalp . I have a low-grade fever, and my throat has been slightly swollen ( swallowing anything hurts) for about a week. My bones have also been aching. Any ideas?
HI Really appreciate your concern, the history given hare is suggestive of some infection, if there are lymph node (Swollen) in the neck region with the history of throat pain while swallowing then this could be a bacterial infection, another the red scab could be a different pathology than the infection, in my opinion such case should be treated with the antibiotic, and the best option is "Tab Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice in day for five days, Tab Acetaminophen with Domeperidone three times in day, once the infection comes under the control there won be sensation of nausea, if this regime fails to respond then clinical examination and blood work would be necessary, take care and have nice day.
