Hello and welcome to HCM,

The MRI of the prostate gland suggests of a focus of malignancy or cancer in peripheral zone of the prostate.
The prostate gland is divided into zones and lobes.
The cancers are more common in peripheral zone as compared to central and transitional (zone outside the central zone) zones.
However, the cancer focus is limited to the prostate gland and the capsule is intact.
The cancer has not invaded the capsule.
Now further you need to get PSA levels done.
The level above 30 ng/ml is diagnostic of prostatic cancer.
Further management involves surgical removal of the prostate gland.
Requirement of chemotherapy or radiotherapy will depend on the staging of the tumor done at the time of surgery.
PSA levels have to be done post-operatively.
Increase in levels of PSA post-operatively indicates recurrence.

Thanks and take care
