Hello and welcome to HCM
The highlights of your MRI hip report is presence of two cysts in left ovary measuring a little more than 1 cm. Cysts are normal structures in a healthy ovary so there is nothing to worry about them. removal of these cysts is required only when they are symptomatic- causing pain, etc.
There are certain findings in the
cartilage which is present in the hip joint.
Co-relating these findings with a positive ANA test, there is some kind of
joint disease which is causing degenerative changes in the hip joint cartilage.
However, ANA is a non-specific test. It is positive in a number of
connective tissue diseases like
Rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, Sjogren syndrome, mixed connective tissue disease,
systemic sclerosis, CREST syndrome, etc.
Connective tissue disease are autoimmune diseases which primarily affects joints, muscle, cartilage, ligaments, etc and other structures.
Discuss the MRI findings with your doctor and further tests will pin point the diagnosis.
Degenerative changes are suggested by the MRI in the hip joint cartilage.
Thanks and take care
