Medically, Can People Live Without A Heart ?

believe it or not, this could explain a good bit about reality to me - something that fascinates me :) i thought that artificial pacemakers were put in, replacing a heart - but apparently not? and apparently, we dont have brains hooked up to machines - which i find curious. you guys are missing my question.. i m looking for someone who physically does not have a heart, who is alive by machine- if that is possible.

Yes, there are artificial hearts. They function similar to a real heart, but are not actually hearts.
