Menstruation Problems, Brown Blood Spotting, Bleeding, Tsh Level 6. Advise?

Hi,
Recently(2-3 months) i have started facing problem with my menustration, my menustration starts with brown blood spotting for around a week and then my actual menustration starts which lasts for 5-7 days. What could be the issue?
I have thyroid disorder, my TSH level was 6 when i did the T3/T4 test in the month of Jan 2013.

Dear Patient ,

TSH level of 6 is considered high and indicate hypothyroidism which may cause your menstruation problems you aforementioned . please contact an endocrinologist in order confirm diagnosis , and describe required medication .
