Migraines, Dizzy And Sick With Stomach. What Could It Be ?
I am 26 years old, female, 165 pounds, and 5 10. I am pretty active with no past medical problems. For the past 9 months, I have had migraines, dizzy and sick to my stomach everyday and lately when I lay down and turn my head to either side it is worse. Also if i lay on my stomach i feel like i want to throw up with extreme dizziness and fatigue . This has been effecting my daily life and unable to fulfill my job duties at work. What could this be?
Hi
How was migraine diagnosed? Have you seen a qualified doctor? Have you had investigations?
Daily for 9 months points to the need for investigations. Routine blood work and MRI brain must be done. One should not miss a treatable condition.
The two may or may not be related.
An ENT specialist is the one to go for dizziness - the balancing mechanism is in inner ear.
A neurologist is the one for protracted migraine. He will confirm and prescribe. There are very good medicines - both for long term prevention and for rescue at the given time
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Good luck
