Miscarriage, Low Back Pain, Pressure On Cervix, Sharp Pains In Legs. What Is Cause And Possible Cure?
I had a d&c a week ago bc of miscarriage at 11 weeks. This was second d&c in 3 weeks bc they didn't get all tissues first time. I'm having low back pain, pressure on cervix & sharp pains in my legs that come & go. All these symptoms had disappeared a few days ago but now they are back. What is causing this? How can I have a second d&c and still having issues
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
After undergoing surgical abortion some amount of pain in back, cervix etc are common due to the instrumentation during the procedure.
But as your symptoms restarted and as you have undergone D&C twice, better to rule out the possibility of infection.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound to rule out any possibility of infection. If nothing is there you can take symptomatic treatment.
