Missed Periods. Pregnancy Test Confirms Pregnancy, Wants To Abort Child. Procedure For Medical Abortion?
Hello Doctor , I have missed my period for 15 days and done a urine test at home and its shows one dark line and next one is waterline , but I have delivered my first baby on Jan 2012 with C-section so dont want to have a baby immediately (atleast 3 years gap) , currently I am in XXXXX and cant take any OTC medicines can you pls advice
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I'm not sure what you mean by "waterline" in the urine pregnancy test. A positive urine pregnancy test must contain two dark coloured lines (one for the control and one for the test). So, if you are not sure about interpreting the test, I would advise you to have the test done in a hospital. Secondly, abortion has to be done by a medical doctor ensuring safety and proper sterile precautions. So, I would advise you to consult a gynaecologist regarding this.
Best wishes,
Dr. Sheeba Stephen
