Morning After Pill Should Be Taken Again After Vomiting Earlier?

hi, my girlfriend took the morning after pill with in 24 hours having unprotected sex.. it contained two tablets. the first tablet she took everthing was ok, no side affects, no vomitting. she took the second tablet 12 hours after like instructed and shortly after experienced nausea and she threw up a little bit like water. However, when she took the first tablet which was 1030am she already eat breakfast and at 1030 at night when she took the second tablet she did not eat anything so maybe thats why. I want to know if she needs to take the medication all over again because of what happen after she took the second tablet

Hi,

Since she has just vomited watery liquid without any visible tablet particles,it is not necessary to take the tablet again.Hence a repeat dose can be avoided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
