Mouth Sore, Tonsillitis, Unable To Open Mouth, Swelling In Face, Strong Click Sound From Jaw. No Relief From Daktarin Gel. Cause Of This Problem?
I have a mouth sore at the back of my left wisdom tooth, tonsillitis on left tonsils and I can't open my mouth fully, only 1 finger can get in my mouth. even a toothbrush can hardly get in my mouth. left side of my face is swelling. i'm putting daktarin gel on my mouth sore but to no avail. can't take any antibiotic cause i might be pregnant. i'm afraid my jaw has been dislocated cause I heard a strong click sound just before my mouth sore got worse. please help.what could be the problem of the facial swelling and inability to fully open my mouth.thanks.

it sounds like pretty serious and there is no need to ignore such symptoms. You can take certain antibiotics in regnancy and you hsould if there is a sign of tonsilits. YOur mouth opening problems can be casued by tonsilits and it can be due to temporomandibular koint dislocation. In every case you should visit ENT who can do joint reposition and recommend antibiotic treatment. Wish you good health.
