Movable Oval Lump In Body, Can Feel It By Running Finger Across Skin. What Could Be This?

Hello I am a 12 year old female but I am nearly 13. A few days ago I discovered a small oval lump about the size of an ordinary sized sweet. The lump is also moveable when I touch it but it can't move any further up or down, just to the right. I have not told anyone yet and I am worried as to what this may be. I am not sure whether this is visible from the outside but if I run my finger across my skin, I can feel it. Is there any way that you can tell me what this may be?

Hi, You didn't tell the location of the lump. But most characteristics of the lump you describe fit in it lipoma, but a medical professional should examine it and categorize it based on the consistency, if its soft, hard or firm. Mostly lipomas are soft to firm in consistency and freely mobile, No need to worry, as it is a collection of fat tissue and can be removed for cosmetic reason only. If the size, color, consistency are changed and if the lump gets fixed, it should be a matter of concern.
Consult a near by surgeon. He ould examine and rightly treat you.
Hope this help you!
