Mucus Like Discharge, Spotting Reddish Brown Blood, Headache, Periods Not Due. What Could Be This?

Hello, three days ago my husband and I had unprotected sex, I am not trying to actually get pregnant but we are not worried about it. But two days ago, I startred noticing mucus like gel that was very clear after I used the restroom, I have never had that happen a day after having sex. Day three, I have now spotted redish brown blood and I am having such a bad head ache, what is the cause of this? My concern with this whole thing is, I wasn't due to start my period for another 2 weeks, can you possibliy help me out?

Hi,
Your symptoms suggest that you may have ovulated as you are mid-cycle. Sometimes, seminal fluid may appear as slimy secretion after a while. You should wait for your next cycle and if you have regular 28-30 day cycles, go for a home pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample of urine 3-7 days later, if you miss it. If you wish for earlier confirmation, you can get the blood pregnancy test. Hope your query is clarified. Take care.
