Musty Smell Under Arms, Anal Area. Is It Due To Hair Growth?
I m a guy whos showers thoroughly and regularly but for some reason I often have a musty or very strong body under my arms. When I shaved in the past it helped slightly but it s still too strong. Also around my anal area I have moderate hair and there tends to be a musty smell there even after I thoroughly clean my rectum . After a few hours the smell is there. This has even become the case shortly after showering and shaving/ hair removal .

Smell in armpit and anal area mainly occurs due to corynebacteria overgrowth.
These bacteria breakdown the lipid and produce smell.
You need to apply an anti bacterial powder to remove this odor as well as reduce the sweating.
A culture for bacterial growth will also be helpful.
