My IUD Was Accidentally Pulled Out After 3 Months. I

My IUD was accidentally pulled out after 3 months. I went to check the strings and they were much lower than normal, next thing I know the IUD is in my hand.

I have a retroverted uterus; I had a painful insertion and now am feeling a slight cramping feeling. It is possible that the cramps I was having for the last few weeks was my uterus rejecting the mirena?

I am not experiencing any pain apart from some light cramping and a tiny bit of bleeding.
