My Mother is having UTI . Initially Amikacin injection was given for 10 days . 2 times daily then WBC reaches to 10-15 . once this antibiotic is discontinued it again increases to 20-30 then levofloxacin 750mg tablet is given for 9 days along with Niftran 100 mg is now continue . Dr. instructed to give Niftran 2 times daily for 7 days and then 1 per day for 3 months . Today Routine check up shows 10-15 WBC . She is also having Diabetes .
