My Mother Was Diagnosed With Peritoneal Cancer And Eventually Passed

My Mother was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer and eventually passed away during the night while I was beside her. When I awoke the next morning, I grabbed her hand, and it was cold. Within 3-5 minutes (while I was getting a nurse), blood began coming out of her mouth (she was sitting up in a hospital bed). This happened in 2014 and I have always wondered how long she had been expired before I awoke. I don't blame myself or think I could have done anything, I just really need answers; the folks at Hospice, although WONDERFUL, either didn't know, or didn't want to tell me. Please help.
