My Blood Pressure Has Been Getting Steadily Higher, Please Suggest

My blood pressure has been getting steadily higher. In May 2008 it was 100/60, May 2009 it was 120/80, and today it was 124/72. I asked today if 124/72 was normal and was told that it s fine, but when I researched it I found that anything over 120/80 is considered prehypertension. My lower number is still below 80, but my upper number is over 120. Should I be worried?

Your blood pressure (BP) of 124/72 is very much normal; and all your BP readings from 2008 mentioned may also be treated as within normal limits for all clinical purposes as there was no other symptom complained. Please feel relaxed and try to give up all worry of frequent BP analysis. Very important please.
