My Brother Has Bad Chest Pain And His Blood Clogs Quickly.

My brother 35 has bad chest pain .Brooklyn hospital say he has pneumonia and his blood clogs quickly.he s been in there since 2/22/10 and we just found out this morn any suggestions on what to do?

Pneumonia is an acute infection of the lungs and does require agressive treatment to clear the infection and prvent further complications. Brooklyn hospital is good enough for the treatment I guess. If the blood is clotting quickly then he should get a bleeding time and clotting time done as a quick measure.

has to see whether he has clotting problems or if he has pulmonary embolism or any cardiovascular disease.Your Physician treating is the best one to answer this.
