My Child Is Suffering From Burning Sensation While Micturating
Hello docter my child is suffering from burning sensation while micturating and she frequently suffer from cough and cold so pls can you suggest any home remedy or allopathic.

This is due to the samakapha.So give the diccoction(kadha) of adrak+Jeera to your child and she will get the result.Thrice a day for 4 continuous days

Hi,
First of all the basic & most important treatment for Burning micturation which is indication of Urinary tract infection is drinking plenty of water so as to flush the infection.
This is the best home remedy which is even more helpful along with use of antibiotics.
Take 1 Teaspoon "Dhaniya" powder.
Mix it with warm water.
Keep it aside to come at room temperature.
Filter it clean in another pot .
Let your daughter drink that water whenever she is thirsty almost 600 to 800 ml/day.
You can make her chew "khadi sakhar" 4 - 5 times a day.
Consult her physician for she will have to undergo certain urine examinations for finding the exact cause & culture sensitivity for proper drug selection without developing drug resistance.
Random use of antibiotics must be avoided in this situation as it carries risk of developing resistance.

1. because girls have urethra shorter than boys, thus urinary infection is very much common in them,go for urine examination for any abnormal cells in the urine (RBC's,pus,epithelial)
2. recurrent cough and cold indicates weak immune system or problem with tonsils consult with an ENT specialist for same.
3. chandra prabha vati 2
gokshuradi vati 2 with varunadi kwatha.
. chandan asav 30 ml with equal amount of water after meals.
4. for recurrent infection, consult for Rasayan Chikitsa (Immunomodulation) with an Ayurveda Physician there, like septilin,Ojus,extraimmune.
5. avoid alcohol,tobacco,fish,salt,ginger,sesame,black gram,red chillies, sour curd.

Burning micturition in a female child suggest a possibility of UTI, which could be viral or bacterial. To find out, a mid stream urine analysis is necessary. However, orange barley and Cranberry juice symptomatic relief from burning. If there is associated fever or abdominal pain, should consult a paediatrician for possible treatment.

Burning Urination is suggestive of Urinary tract infection.
1) water intake needs to be increased
2) Also give her a glass of barley water...this is a natural urinary alkaliser.
Recurrent cold and cough suggests allergy. Homeopathic medicines would help by improving the immune system and thereby reduce the frequency and intensity of the complaints. Homeopathy has a permanent and safe solution for such complaints. Along with the medications, take the following precautions-
1) Regularly dust your bed and sofa
2)Avoid pillow with feather stuffed in it.
3) Change bedsheets and pillow covers atleast 2 times a week.
4) Avoid keeping potted plants in your house
5) If you have any pets -like cats, dogs, keep them away from your child and restrict the pet sleeping with your child.
