Hello Doctor, My dad is a diabetic patient and has developed a wound on his leg. He complains severe pain and I have noticed puss coming out of the wound this morning. Request your suggestion to proceed. Regards Lijesh Mukundan

Wound in a diabetic patient should not be ignored as sometimes uncontrolled blood sugars can lead to a condition called Diabetic Foot. Get his blood Sugar levels checked immediately and contact your health care provider for complete examination of the wound.
