My Daughter Has Dealt With Interstitial Cystitis (IC) For Almost

My daughter has dealt with Interstitial Cystitis (IC) for almost 20 years. Her current urologist ( a former student of Dr. Robert Maulden of IC world circles and who is known nation wide and on staff at Jewish Urology Clinic in NYC) is a well respected urologist in an award winning teaching/research hospital Her INterstim isn't working and until it can be fixed he wants her to catherize herself again daily. One of the meds is marcadaine which she mixes with something else. What can you tell me about this drug? Does Mayo specialze in IC? Thank you.
