My Daughter Is 20 Years Old. She Has Been On

My daughter is 20 years old. She has been on an antibiotic for about 36 hours. She has a severe sore throat, and her tonsils are completely white with pus. Swallowing is so painful that she is spitting into cup most of the time. She is trying to drink as much water as possible. The pain is so bad that she's unable to sleep. She took ibuprofen around 11pm. Would it be ok to give her some oxycodone?
