My Dentist Sent Me To Have A Crown Lengthening Or

My dentist sent me to have a crown lengthening or post lengthening From a Periodontics, D.M.D the who put me to sleep by IV to remove some of the gum to expose more surface area on the root as the post only would not support a new crown. The D.M.D Periodontics called in Amoxicillin for infection and Acetaminophren/COD #3 for post surgery pain for seven days until next appt. This Medication did not relieve any of the pain when my driver drove me home and I have been in pain post surgery every since. I took 4 tablets when I got home and the pain is constant. Is this the correct medication for that procedure for post surgery?
