My Endocrinologist, Whom I See For Hypothyroidism Seems To Think

My endocrinologist, whom I see for hypothyroidism seems to think that I no longer should be taking cymbalta. For some 20 years I have been taking 60 mg. daily for depression due to marital difficulties. My husband died five years ago, and for the past months I have started feeling confused, off balance, and very tired. I am 85, active and in good health. My cardiologist (who okays/confirms an old leaky valve) and endocrinologist have both suggested I see a neurologist and stop taking cymbalta, as its side effects include my current symptons.
