My father is 90 he just had an EKG should we be concerned?
They told him that his heart rate was low, it is 50. Is this dangerously low?

Loving Heart is correct. It is normal for a 90 year old to have a slower heart rate. It is not dangerously low. Is he having symptoms such as dizziness with this heart rate? If he has symptoms from this then there may be reason to be concerned. You did not say anything about if he is taking medications, some medications can also lower the heart rate. He does need to walk some if possible.
