My Father Just Recently Had A Ischemic Stroke Which Only

My father just recently had a ischemic stroke which only effected his vision. Actually it happened on Nov. 5th is when he had it. Today he was turning into his driveway and said he felt real strange and kinda went blank only to realize he was numb on his right side. We took him to the ER and all lad test and CT scan were normal. They compared the scan to the one done on 11/5 and said there was no change. They wanted to admit him to possibly do more stroke evaluations but he wanted to come home instead. He still has no use of his right hand and his leg is very weak but he can walk with a walker. He was given prescriptions of aspirin and some cholesterol mess when he was dismissed last Wednesday. He got them confused after a few days and was not taking the aspirin as directed therefore he hasn't had any in about 5 days. Do you think this is what caused this to happened today and should I take him to see his neurologist to do further testing especially if he doesn't get the use of his right side back completely?
