My Friend Can Not Have A Bowel Movement But Air

My friend can not have a bowel movement but air is trapped in the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, bloating and having chest pains. Seems that every organ is filled with air. Nothing is passing through. After eating tests show not food but air. Lots of laxatives for months and months. Nothing is working. Hasn't had a bowel movement in months. Why won't her food digest and all sorts of tests in hospitals but nothing found. My friend is dying. What could be the problem?
