My Girlfriend Missed Her Period, Should I Be Worried ?
My girlfriend s period is about five days late. The day she was supposed to get her period we took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. She s still worried and I m even more worried. Over the last month there was a week or so where she barely ate. Could that and the stress be the cause of the missed period? I m really getting worried, but if the test said no, should I be? Sex was always protected with spermicidal condoms.

Yes, a missed period could very well be due to stress. Tell her to relax. It's weird, but if she thinks she's pregnant, her body will actually act like she's pregnant. Don't think about it. If the test came back negative, relax a little; take another if it helps calm both of you.
