My Husband (72yrs) Has Recently Been Diagnosed W/Parkinsons. He Has

My husband (72yrs) has recently been diagnosed w/Parkinsons. He has choking episodes and then aspirates.
Recently, he has had 2 lung biopsy's... in the last 6 mos. because of a non-cancerous mass in his left lung. Both CT scan/biops showed the mass (1st) had shrunk (in July), then in Oct., it showed an enlargement. Therefore, the 2nd biop. Results showed no cancer but no diagnosis either. Drs. said could be an infection of some sort.
I am no nurse, but I strongly suspect that he has aspirated (several times) and this is what is sitting in his lung. Should I get in touch w/his neuro/PD Dr. ?
If this is the case, will he need meds to "dissolve" this infection or will it heal on its own ?
